The Five Sexiest Yankee Candle Scents...and what they bring to mind.

The people of Yankee Candle know how to put Sexy in the air. Their scents are able to transport you to anothet time and place. Today, I’d like to share the five Sexiest Yankee Candle scents and the subsequent stories each scent has to tell.

Willow Breeze. It’s a spring day and you and James McAvoy have just finished a long game of cricket. While the other player head off to the pub, you two decided to take a romantic boat ride on the lake. You tire of rowing so James suggests that you maneuver the boat underneath a willow and rest a while in the shade. Suddenly your grass-stained white cricket uniforms are stroon about the boat as you two make love. Ducks float by and wonder what you are up to but you don’t care what ducks think, so you keep going…until dusk.

Macintosh. It’s the autumn. There’s a crisp breeze in the air. You and James McAvoy have just spent an evening watching the Middletown HS North Lions play football, but really you were paying more attention to each other and to the marching band and their field show, a tribute to Rogers and Hammerstein. You and James don’t even remember who won the game. On the walk home, you take in the autumn air and make plans to go apple picking and bake each other warm apple desserts with the pickins. Then you two walk through the woods because it’s too early to go to Lauren C’s party, and you make love against an Oak tree.

Greenhouse. You and James McAvoy are staying at your rich aunt’s summer home on the cape, and on a rainy afternoon when the whole family goes into town to see a picture show, you two sneak out to the greenhouse. It’s muggy but the air isn’t just heavy with humidity: it’s also heavy with sexual tension. Maybe you and James needed this weekend to really figure out where you two stand. And now that you stand in a sweaty greenhouse, the smell of the flora overtakes you both…so soon you are lying in a sweaty greenhouse, making love by some rosebushes.

Though on performance nights, you play lovers, tonight, you are lovers. You hold each other and make love onstage as the rain falls gently. You hear playful dear scurrying in the woods around you.

Mistletoe. Your Christmas party is, for all intents and purposes, over. All of the guests have left except for one. James McAvoy has had a bit too much egg nog and peppermint punch. He’s looking a bit lethargic and drunk as he reclines on your recliner. It's getting awkward. But then you remember, wait, this is James McAvoy on my recliner and you grab a sprig of mistletoe, stradle him and shove your tongue in his mouth. though his first instict may be to puch you away, your legs are strong and you have him trapped...so he goes with it. Christmas is a time for giving...and you give each other a lot that night. But later he pukes on your area rug...and human puke is much messier than cat puke...but he is James McAvoy so you make plans for New Years' Eve over brunch at IHOP.

Answer to Nicolle's question:
Whenever I am super tired and feel that my day needs a Sexy turnaround, I drink a cup of coffee. It usually reminds me that I am a living breathing human person and that I can be as Sexy as I want to be. Coffee is my alcohol/cocaine, I guess.
